How do I purchase a Local Business Website?

To purchase a Local Business Website, first contact us for a quote. We will ask you a few questions that will help us understand your business and your marketing goals. We will then send you a proposal and estimate for your total package price. We can then make adjustments if you would like to add or subtract pages or services. Upon your agreement, we will send you an invoice before we begin working.

Are there payment plan options available?

Yes. Payment options depend on the services requested. We will work with you to create an affordable payment plan that fits your budget. Payment installments do not include monthly hosting and maintenance, which will be a separate transaction. Be aware that you do not own your website until paid in full.

WordPress is the world’s most popular website builder. In 2021, WordPress powers about 40% of all websites, and is trusted by many famous companies, universities, news organizations, magazines, celebrities, and blogs such as Etsy, Home Depot, UPS, Sony, Zillow, Microsoft, Yelp, IBM, MTV, Disney, and many more.

Can I purchase Hosting and Maintenance separately from a website package?

No. At the moment we do not offer hosting and maintenance to websites outside our hosting environment.

What is copywriting?

Copywriting is act or occupation of writing text for the purpose of advertising or marketing. For example, a copywriter writes the advertisements you read online, in print, or watch on TV or the internet.

One of the main objectives of copywriting is to get your reader to take an action. In the case of your website, as a business owner, you most likely want your visitors to contact you by phone or email.

We use specific writing strategies and techniques to persuade your readers to believe your business, your service, or your product gives them what they want or solves their problems. This increases the chances that they will contact you.

Why would I need you to write for me, or take pictures? I can write. I have a smartphone. All you need is words and pictures, right?

How many copywritten words do I get per webpage?

The word count depends on the purpose of the page and how specific the sales copy needs to be. For instance, in the Advanced Site package webpages such as your About and Services pages might have 300-500 words each. Whereas, your homepage, since its a longer page, may be 500-750 words. In the Power Site package more specific service pages may be 500 words or more.

The word count also depends on the design, message and structure of the sales copy. There could be a lot of words on a webpage but it essentially says nothing if your reader doesn’t read it.

Readers read online differently than they do in print. Most scan websites instead of reading them word for word. A great headline with a few well-thought-out words will have more of an impact on your reader than a difficult-to-read giant blob of text with no formatting.

What is image selection?

Along with copywriting, your website needs nice, attractive images to catch your visitors’ attention. The images complement what your copywriting says.

Ideally, your business would hire a professional photographer to visit you and take photos of your staff, facilities, and some of your customers. However, hiring a professional photographer is expensive, time consuming, and may be excessive, if all you need is about 10-20 pictures for a small website.

Can I purchase copywriting & image selection separately from a website package?

Yes, but it costs more. A lot of the work involved in copywriting and image selection is frontloaded; meaning the time we consult with clients at the beginning of building their website helps us when we write their sales copy and select pictures. Therefore, prices for just copywriting and image selection are more expensive and depend on the project.
